imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 6.62 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5303.89 points and closed at 5297.27 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 143,100 shares to close against previous turnover of 123,000 shares, showing an upward move of 20,100 shares. While, out of the total 60 active scrips, 10 moved up, 9 shed values and 41 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Attock Refinery Limited, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited and Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.73, Rs 1.59 and Re 0.29 respectively.

Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited and Bank Alfalah Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.92, Re 0.59 and Re 0.18 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 100,500 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited with 95,00 shares and Askari Bank Limited with 5,000 shares.
