imageISLAMABAD: The marketing companies on Tuesday reduced price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 10 per kg.

Chairman LPG Distributors Association Muhammad Irfan Khokhar said the price of domestic cylinder was decreased by Rs 100 and commercial cylinder by Rs 385.

He said the new prices of LPG will be effective with immediate effect throughout the country.

Giving details, he said that the price of domestic cylinder had been slashed to 1270 with Rs 100 per kg in Karachi, he added.

In Lahore, Sialkot, Nawabshah and Karachi the price of domestic cylinder would be Rs 1330 with one kilogram at Rs 115.

The domestic cylinders in Peshawar, Muzaffarabad would be sold at Rs1450 and one Kilogram at Rs 125.

Khokhar further informed that the price of domestic cylinder in Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir had been come down to Rs1510 and one kilogram at Rs130.

He added that LPG production would augment by 500 metric ton during the current financial year and the price of the commodity was likely to further decrease in next month.
