LAHORE: Bullish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday, as it gained 124.02 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 3019.94 and closed at 3143.96 points.

The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 3.412 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.473 million shares, showing an downward slide of 60,521 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips 49 moved up, 52 remained equal and only 2 shed values.

Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, MCB Bank Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 9.00, Rs 7.99 and Rs 7.41 respectively.

First Capital Equities and Hira Textile Mills Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.45 and Re 0.15 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 678,695 shares, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 455,330 shares and Bank Al-Falah Limited with 333,510 shares.
