MADRID: Spain's overhaul of its crisis-hit banks is "on track", the IMF said Wednesday, but it warned that challenges remain to healing the bailed-out sector.
"The financial sector programme is on track so far, with all deadlines met," the body said in a report. "However, the most challenging steps lie ahead, especially those related to implementing bank restructuring plans."
