Implementation of agreements can normalize Pak, India relations

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said we have changed our policy and want to ink agreements with India on other issues as well so that we may make progress in other areas for normalization of bilateral ties.

 

He said the violation of ceasefire on LoC is unfortunate and it may reverse the process of normalization of Pak-India ties.

 

Therefore, the incident of ceasefire violation should be investigated, he added.

 

SAFMA chief Imtiaz Alam said that people to people contact between India, Pakistan should be enhanced.

 

He said SAFMA wants implementation of agreements inked among SAARC countries so that people-to-people contacts may develop among member countries and economic prosperity may prevail over South Asia adding he said SAARC countries, especially Pakistan and India should issue visa for two years to journalists, artists and academics at the border so that the people may visit each other's countries easily.
