Youth centres being set up in all big cities of Sindh: Subzwari

This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari.

 

He was reviewed the Annual Development Programme (ADP) in his office here on Tuesday.

 

The Minister said that for the development schemes the Department of Youth Affairs Sindh has been allocated a sum of Rs. 358 million in the current fiscal year.

 

He informed that the Youth Centre in Hyderabad has been completed and would be inaugurated soon.

 

The Centre at Larkana is nearing completion.

 

Subzwari pointed out that a youth centre for the disabled at the cost of Rs. 20 million.

 

He said that a youth hostel would be constructed in Jacobabad while a youth centre would be established in Khairpur.

 

The Minister informed that a mobile skill development centre would be set up with a cost of Rs, 15 million for the youngsters from the backward areas.

 

A youth development centre would be established in Karachi with a cost of Rs. 70 million.

 

Subzwari said that for the youth promotion and development scheme the collaboration of the private sector would also be sought.
