Shortage of measles vaccine in Badin

District Health Officer Badin Dr Abdul Sattar Channa said so far the emergency teams of his department have vaccinated 41000 children in the district and daily more than 3000 children are given anti-measles vaccination.

 

He said there a temporary shortage but as the vaccine has already been sent to Badin from Karachi the problem would be resolved soon.

 

However, sources said at least 15 children have died of measles in the district during last 16 days, while the official figures of the department shows reporting of just 41 cases of measles in the district.
