Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari were also present on the occasion.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 3 billion and it will be completed in three years' time.

The University will have six faculties and 26 teaching departments.

It will be the first university of its kind and will promote the discipline of veterinary health and animal sciences. Its campus would also be established at Larkana.

The President also performed the inauguration of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Campus of the Sindh University at Dadu.

He also opened the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Chair and Convention Centre of Sindh University Jamshore.
