ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted a two-member bench at the principal seat to hear 90 important cases next week, starting December 24.

 

According to the cause list, no application received through fax will be placed before the court for adjournment. If the concerned counsel is unable to appear before the court for any reason, the Advocate-on-Record will argue the case on his behalf.

 

A two-judge bench of Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani and Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk will exercise its principal and appellant jurisdiction over tax, bail, services, contempt of court, rent laws cases, life imprisonment, declaratory suit, illegal dispossession, pre-emption, specific performance and recovery suits matters.
