ICCI completes Super-structure of its Export Display Centre

Zafar Bakhtawari, President ICCI said that being the representative body of the private sector, ICCI was playing its role in supplementing the Government’s efforts to promote exports.

 

He said that Export Display Center would serve as window to the world for Pakistani products which would definitely enhance the exports of our country.

 

ICCI President said that a large portion of the Display Centre would be allocated to the export oriented industries from all over the country to display their exports quality products to foreign business delegations, diplomats and dignitaries, which would enable our exporters to further expand their export base to various countries of the world.

 

He said that the Export Display Centre would be equipped with video conferencing facility, large conference hall for business meetings, auditorium, and compete floor for Research and Development.

 

Bakhtawari said that trainings and workshops would also be arranged in EDC to make our industries aware about the latest marketing tools and techniques, quality and standards required for penetrating in the international market.

 

ICCI President said that different product exhibitions would be held in Export Display Centre, so that visitors could be introduced about the potential of Pakistan in various sectors.

 

Bakhtawari said that incubation centers will also be the part of EDC to forge strong collaboration between the universities and to promote entrepreneurship in the country which at present is the lowest in South Asia.
