The Ambassadors of Hungry, Jordan, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Oman, USA and High Commissioner of Canada, after presenting their credentials called on the President separately and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.

The President felicitated the newly appointed ambassadors and expressed the hope that they will work for further cementing ties of their respective countries with Pakistan.

Earlier upon arrival at the Governor House, Ambassador of Hungry Istvan Szabo, Ambassador of Jordan Maj Gen (Retd) Nawaf Khalifeh Ibrahim Saraireh, Ambassador of Belgium Peter L.J.F. Claes, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Parvez Aliev, High Commissioner of Canada Greg Giokas, Ambassador of Oman Riyadh Ahmad Yousif Al-Raisi and Ambassador of USA Richard Olson, national anthems of Pakistan and the respective countries were played.

A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honour to the envoys.
