Beggars throng twin cities, ahead of Eid-ul-Azha

Professional beggars with a big number of children use different tactics to attract motorists and shoppers at various places in twin cities including markets.

 

A shopkeeper said that their was a lack of shoppers in market due to the price hike while people most trend is toward buying sacrificial animals rather than dresses and costumes etc. He said that number of beggars was increasing sharply who irk the shoppers.

 

A shopper Moeen Ahmad said that shopkeepers were charging double for Eid celebration as the Eid-ul-Azha approaching fast, adding increase number of beggars was another problem for shoppers.

 

A motorist said professional beggars have deployed their children at big traffic signals and markets who use filthy tactics to get something.

 

A large number of beggars can be seen at bus stop Faizabad, Pirwadahi, I-8 intersection and other places.
