Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, the statement said that Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US $ 9,814.2 million while the net foreign reserves held by banks (other than SBP) were US $ 4,505.1 million as on October 12,2012.

The total liquid foreign reserves stood at $ 14,319.3 million.
