CM Sindh attends China's national day reception

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah was the chief guest at the ceremony.

The national anthems of China and Pakistan were played on the occasion and a cake-cutting ceremony was also held.

In his remarks, Syed Qaim Ali Shah spoke of the deep friendly ties between Pakistan and China which are growing further with the passage of time.

He also extended felicitation on the occasion of the 63rd Independence Day of China.

The Chief Minister Sindh pointed out that the foundation of close friendly ties between Pakistan and China was laid during the government of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. These relations are being cemented further during the present government under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari.

The Consul General of China in Karachi presented the welcome address.

The reception was also attended by the ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and elite of the city.
