Drama competition starts at RAC

The event was organized in connection with Punjab Youth Festival. On the first day of festival, the students of Quaid-e-Azam University staged their play with the title of "Hum Kuin Chalen is Rah Per".

 

The drama was written and directed by Meher Ali Shah. Director RAC Waqar Ahmed, was the chief guest while Yar Muhammad, Basharat Jaffari and Syed Salman Tahir Shah have been appointed as judges for the competition.

 

The main theme of the play was "Our youth seems non-serious but they have truthfulness and courage to do something for the country".

 

In the Play, owner of a pharmaceutical company launches fake medicines in the market in flood days which claimed lives of many people. At last, his daughter exposed his corruption.

 

Addressing on the occasion, Director RAC said that youth is very talented and it is the need of the hour to provide platform and RAC is playing vital role in this regard.

 

Participation of youth in Punjab Youth Festival shows that future of Pakistan lies in the hands of young generation which is surely bright, he said.
