Gen Wynne awards degrees to graduates

Addressing to participants as chief guest at the convocation of Institute of Space Technology held here, he emphasized "we are living in a time characterized by many challenges, which with sheer hard work, resolve and dedication can not only be surmounted but will also be used as a fillip for scaling new heights in terms of our technological progression as a nation".

 

General Khalid Shameem Wynne also appreciated the faculty for their professionalism, commitment and dedication to achieve the enviable bench marks in enhancing the knowledge base and making the institute of Space Technology a Premier institute with state of the art learning facilities.

 

A total of 84 graduates were awarded degrees on the occasion in different engineering fields.

 

Mr. Ahmed Ali Ansari, Miss Maria Mehmood and Mr Mateen Tariq won the presidents Gold Medal in the fields of Aerospace engineering, communication system engineering and Material Science Engineering respectively.

 

A large number of civil and military dignitaries were present on the occasion.

 

The chief guest also witnessed various projects of the graduating students and appreciated the standards achieved therein.

 

Earlier on arrival, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) was received by vice Chancellor, Engineer Imran Rehman who also introduced the chief guest with other faculty members and eminent engineers.
