NA to discuss prevailing law and order situation during 45th session

It was decided during the House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly which met in the Parliament House on Monday evening with Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi in the chair to discuss the business for the 45th Session of the National Assembly.

After thorough discussion, it was decided that the current session of the National Assembly will continue till September 14, 2012 and the sittings will be held in mornings except on Wednesday (in case of Cabinet meeting).

According to a press release issued by National Assembly Secretariat here, it was also decided that besides taking up legislative business for passage, prevailing law and order situation in the country and other matters of public importance would be taken up for discussion.

The meeting was attended by Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah, Minister for Religious Affairs, Farooq H. Naek, Minister for Law and Justice, Sardar Bahadur Ahmed Khan Sihar, Minister for Defence Production, Shaukat Ullah, Minister for SAFRON. MNAs Nawab Yousaf Talpur, Dr. Abdul Kadir Khanzada, Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Ch. Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Dr. Tariq Fazal Ch., Rana Tanveer Hussain and Ms. Jamila Gillani.
