Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and Madam Faryal Talpur MNA co-chaired the meeting.

 

A CM House statement said that the meeting was attended among others by Provincial Local Government Minister, Agha Siraj Durrani, Sindh Minister for Irrigation, Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Sindh Minister for Law and Jails, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Qadir Bux Kalwar, Nizamddin Rajori, Abdul Razzaq Mehar, Abdul Latif Shah, Agha Nazakat, Abdul Rasheed Bhutto, Sikandar Lakho, Syed Imtiaz Shah, Deewan Lal, Siddique Abu Bhai, and others.

 

The meeting discussed overall political situation of district Ghotki.

 

The office bearers and workers of district Ghotki said the district Ghotki had always remained fort of PPP, and Inshallah, it will again prove to be the fort of Peoples Party in the next general elections.

 

The party workers assured the leadership that they will fully devote their energies for furtherance of party programme and will foil the negative attempts of opposition.

 

They highlighted some problems and hoped that there will be sympathetic consideration for the same.

 

Chief Minister Sindh and Madam Faryal Talpur assured the office bearers and workers of party that the genuine problems will be solved on priority basis.

 

They added that party will go to people for elections on the basis of performance, services rendered for welfare of masses and development process.

 

Chief Minister said that Sindh Government with assistance of Federal Government is doing a lot for the power and gas generation form Thar Coal, Badin and Thatta Coal, wind power and solar energy, and Sindh will soon become important area of power generation which is essential for progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

 

Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that under party programme and policies laid by President Asif Ali Zardari, the Sindh province has become self sufficient in food productivity particularly in the crops of wheat, rice, sugarcane and pulses.

 

He said that there is a remarkable progress in industrial sector and investments.

 

Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Madam Faryal Talpur asked the party workers to unitedly work hard for resolving the problems of common men.
