Governor for better education system in country: Khosa

Talking to a private television channel program, he said that a modern vision was given to the vice chancellors (VCs) of the universities for improving the education system and to get better results for the progress and prosperity of the people.

He said a modern idea of education had given to the VCs for bringing improvement in this sector.

He was of the view that education system as envisioned by Quaid e Azam and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto should be implemented in the country to meet the challenges of the world.

Replying to a question, he said "All the bills and matters pass on to my office are being done on merit."

Latif Khosa said that results of good governance can be achieved with the cooperation and coordination of the concerned stakeholders.

He said that there are lot of matters in the Punjab province which need consultation, coordination and cooperation.

Governor said that there is need to promote democratic behavior to improve the system in the Punjab province.

Replying to another question, he said that a huge financial resources were being utilized on Danish schools, Ashiyana scheme, Nasheman, laptops and road networks which needed consultation.

To a question, he said that Punjab government should streamline the affairs including managing funds for education and some other institutions.
