28 Aug, 2012

Mohammad Yasin Malik while addressing a big public gathering at Tulmula in Ganderbal said, "Taking small steps or short term measures can never undermine the importance of permanent resolution of the IoK dispute. The long pending issue should be discussed on priority basis in accordance with the Kashmiris' aspirations."

He pointed out that without addressing IoK, no one could ever achieve peace in South Asia and the entire world, KMS reported.

The JKLF Chairman said that India must recognize the owner status of Kashmiris and their inclusion in the talks process was imperative for settling the lingering dispute, adding that it would help to create atmosphere for strong friendship between the India and Paksitan.

Appealing the people to maintain mutual harmony and brotherhood, he hailed the recent resolution passed unanimously in a seminar by the Ulemas about the unity.

Yasin Malik was accompanied by the party leaders including Mohammad Yasin Butt, Sheikh Abdul Rasheed, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Sheikh Nazir Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Bashir Ahmad Rather, Mohammad Latif and Ghiyas-ud-Din.
