According to media sources, Rihanna is delighted that she is gaining an opportunity to perform in between great artists namely: Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Green Day, Pink and One Direction.

After confirming her performance, Rihanna tweeted in uppercase, “, "PHUCK YES I WILLLL!!! JUST FOR MY NAVY!!!!"

Sources said that MTV Video Music Awards will on air on September 6 at 8 p.m. The show will be hosted by renowned comedian Kevin Hart, who is associated with Comedy Central’s 2009 TV series.

Sources added that Rihanna is extremely excited because besides being a performer, she is nominated in five music categories which include Video of the Year and Best Female Video.
