Boyle to make Olympics Opening Ceremony in a movie

The director is currently editing a feature-length version of the colourful show, which will
help fans understand what was going through his mind as he planned sequences about the Industrial Revolution and Britain's National Health Service.

Boyle will reportedly adjoin more classic movie scenes, which time constraints prevented him from showing at the beginning of the Olympics to the film.

The 55-year-old was the Artistic Director for Isles of Wonder, the opening ceremony of the
2012 London Summer Olympic Games.

The opening ceremony included segments featuring James Bond, Daniel Craig, Kenneth Branagh,
The Queen and soccer-star David Beckham, was savaged by some critics who felt it was too
confusing.
