27 Jun, 2012

An ICCI delegation led by its acting President, Asad Farid visited G-11 Markaz and congratulated the newly elected President of G-11 Markaz, Chaudry Waqas Ghujar for winning the election.

Speaking on the occasion, Asad Farid said that the ICCI had always served the cause of small traders and highlighted their issues at all relevant forums, which showed that the ICCI was a true representative of traders.

Former ICCI president Munawar Mughal said that the non-existence of a balanced rent law in the federal capital was the main cause of rising rent disputes between tenants and landlords and this situation was also affecting business activities.

He said that the traders of the federal capital were facing big housing problems and demanded that the CDA should also consider a separate housing society for the traders.

Chaudry Waqas Ghujar thanked the traders for posing confidence in him and electing him as President of G-11 Markaz and assured that he would put in his best efforts for safeguarding the interests of traders.
