ICCI for resolving issue of Rent Control Act

"A balanced Rent Control Act in Islamabad will greatly reduce and resolve the rental issues of traders", said Asad Farid, acting president of ICCI on Thursday during his visit to Abpara Market.

On the occasion he also congratulated Ajmal Baloch for winning the election of Traders Welfare Association of Abpara Market.

He said that in the absence of a balanced Rent Control Act in the city, the frequency of disputes was rising day by day and the business community was feeling insecure in such environment.

He said the Islamabad Chamber had struggled a lot in bringing changes in the Rent Control Act after consultation with the all stakeholders and representatives of the business community.

Munawar Mughal, Chairman Expo Committee ICCI also congratulated trader's union Shaheen Group for winning the election of Abpara market and assured full support of ICCI in resolving other concerning issues of traders on priority basis.

Ajmal Baloch, newly elected President of Traders Welfare Association Abapara Market thanked the traders of Abpara Market for posing confidence in him and assured that he would put in his best efforts to safeguard the interests of traders.
