NA approves Rs. 962,914,448,000 for Ministry of Finance

The demands of grants presented to the House by Finance Minister Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh included Rs. 950,000,000 for the Federal Government to meet expenditures in respect of Finance Division, Rs. 3,386,480,000 in respect of Controller General of Accounts and Rs. 316,878,000 in respect of Pakistan Mint.

While the demands of grants of Rs. 1,621,211,000 in respect of National Savings, Rs. 8,246,500,000 in respect of other expenditure of Finance Division, Rs. 126,517,452,000 in respect of Superannuation Allowances and Pensions and Rs. 73,238,771,000 in respect of Grants-In-Aid and Miscellaneous Adjustments between the Federal and Provincial Government were also approved.

Similarly, the House approved demands of grants of Rs. 465,251,943,000 in respect of Subsidies and Miscellaneous Expenditure, Rs. 32,778,298,000 in respect of Higher Education Commission, Rs. 211,814,000 in respect of Revenue Division, Rs. 2,420,476,000 in respect of Federal Board of Revenue and Rs. 4,665,038,000 in respect of Customs.

Moreover, NA also approved demands of grants of Rs. 7,452,645,000 in respect of Inland Revenue, Rs. 1,086,848,000 in respect of Planning and Development Division, Rs. 14,780,225,000 in respect of Federal Miscellaneous Investment, Rs. 12,519,583,000 in respect of Other Loans and Advances by the Federal Government, Rs. 17,535,235,000 in respect of Development Expenditure of Finance Division and Rs. 29,885,691,000 in respect of Other Development Expenditures, Grants of Rs. 74,520,000,000 in respect of Development Expenditure outside Public Sector Development Programme, Rs. 806,768,000 in respect of Development Expenditure of Revenue Division, Rs. 37,840,005,000 in respect of Development Expenditure of Planning and Development Division, Rs. 262,266,000 in respect of Capital Outlay on Federal Investment and Rs. 46,620,321,000 in respect of Development Loans and Advances by the Federal Government were also approved.
