An official of the Water and Power Ministry told APP on Wednesday that the Diamer-Bhasha Dam after completion would strengthen the country's economy as it would have the capacity to store 6.4 million square feet water.

Replying to a question, he said the dam would boost the agriculture sector and ensure food and water security, besides increasing cultivable land.
