According to the administrative order no customer will be allowed to enter shopping malls without a face mask, while hand sanitiser should be made available at all entry points.
It added that no customer shall be allowed to enter without being scanned by a thermal gun. Besides, persons over 55 years of age and children below 12 years of age will not be allowed to enter shopping malls.
The order stated that shopping malls shall be frequently cleaned with disinfectants while persons with flu like symptoms, high temperature and cough shall not be allowed to enter in shopping malls.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has introduced an exception for "family members residing in the same household" in the ban on pillion riding.
According to the notification, there shall be "no exception for law enforcement agencies, journalists/media persons, coworkers, office staff, etc".
