Speaking after approving "Green Stimulus" package in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said it is the government's top priority to enhance green cover of the country and address climate issues.
The prime minister emphasized that areas for creating green cover must be demarcated in collaboration with the provinces. He said national parks will be established all over the country as part of Clean and Green Pakistan.

Imran added the package will offer employment opportunities to the youth and 65,000 daily wagers. He maintained it will also help promote objectives of Clean and Green Pakistan.
He instructed the authorities to engage international bodies to enhance the scope of the program and create additional jobs.
The prime minister directed the Ministry of Climate Change to prepare a plan of action for engaging the international community under Debt for Nature Swap program.
The Green Stimulus package aims to promote plantation, setting up nurseries, natural forests and promotion of honey, fruit and olive plantation in the country.
