After seeking China’s assistance in the ongoing war against the Coronavirus, fellow ally Turkey has also come out to facilitate Pakistan after the country donated protective equipment to Pakistani doctors.

According to the spokesman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the Turkish Airlines carrier arrived in Islamabad in the morning with a donation of Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) from Turkey.

The protective equipment includes 20,000 N-95 masks and 18,500 protective gowns.

The Deputy Head of Mission of the Turkish Consulate handed over the goods to the NDMA officials.

The virus has so far claimed over 200 lives in Pakistan with 9,500 persons affected all over the country.
