Speaking about ongoing demonstrations in different parts of the world against lockdown due to coronavirus, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan said that perhaps the world community can now understand the plight of the Kashmiris in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK)

In a tweet on Tuesday, the PM said despite provision of medical, financial, communication and food assistance, demonstrations in several parts of the world is ongoing against lockdowns during a pandemic.

However, he said, Kashmiris in IoK have been under lockdown for over eight months now after India revoked its special status. The PM continued that the innocent people have been without provision of medical, financial, communication or food assistance.

"In fact the racist Hindutva Supremacist Modi government has ensured that Kashmiris are deprived of all basic amenities during lockdown," the PM tweeted.
