Following the extension in the lockdown due to coronavirus, the Sindh government has issued a notification allowing few delivery companies restricted services.

These delivery companies are allowed to deliver groceries, medicines and relief goods under certain conditions. According to the notification, the companies are restricted from delivering cooked food and even barred from transporting any passenger.

Courier staff and riders must wear protective helmets, masks and gloves and maintain a distance of over one metre during all interactions. "They must also carry a hand sanitizer and use it frequently," the notification read.

 

Similarly, the provincial government has also issued a notification about restaurants. All restaurants and eateries are restricted from opening to guests and customers, and takeaway. However, the restaurants are permitted to make deliveries on their own.
