Buzdar raps opposition, acknowledges services of doctors, paramedics

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday acknowledged the services of doctors and paramedics for the treatment of coronavirus patients. According to a message received here he said this while inspecting the THQ Hospital Kot Addu.

He directed to improve the arrangements in the isolation ward for coronavirus patients. He also announced to upgrade the THQ Hospital adding that required facilities will be provided for the treatment of the people.

While talking to the doctors and paramedics, he said the doctors and paramedics are our heroes and those engaged in the treatment of coronavirus patients will be given one-month basic salary. He asked them to work with zeal to serve the humanity.

Earlier the CM visited different areas of Taunsa Sharif city and inspected different arrangements including the implementation of Section 144, coronavirus pandemic, law and order and cleanliness.

On this occasion, he appealed to the citizens to remain in their homes and should not go out without any need. The situation arising due to coronavirus requires responsibility and those who are treating the patients are the real benefactors of humanity.

Similarly, administration and law enforcement agencies are also playing a commendable role in this regard and we salute those diligently serving the nation despite the threat of coronavirus.

The government is keeping a close eye on the economic situation and the poor will not be left alone. Provision of financial aid to lakhs of needy families through Insaf Imdad Programme is a national record, he said.

Talking to notables of Taunsa Sharif, the CM said Pakistan and the whole world is facing challenges due to coronavirus and the citizens will have to adjust their daily routine in this backdrop.
