According to details, China has sent relief items that contained around six tonnes of supplies, including 15 ventilators, masks, medical protective kits and other items.

The Chinese ambassador to Pakistan and NDMA chairman received the supplies at Nur Khan Airbase.

Pakistan has reported 12 coronavirus deaths and 1,508 known cases as of Saturday. A lockdown has been imposed across the country to curb the spread of the virus.

The government has taken strict measures to contain the spread of deadly outbreak. The whole country is in a state of lockdown. The government closed shopping centres, markets and banned public transport from plying roads.

So far, 1,526 confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported across the province. Besides, 13 people have died of the virus while 29 have recovered.
