Addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Friday, he said that the economic package has been announced to facilitate the masses, especially the people belonging to poor class.

He said the provincial government has decided to close shopping malls and markets till April 10.

He said public holidays in the province have been extended to April 5 while the ban on large gatherings will remain in effect until April 30.

He highlighted that 53 new coronavirus cases have been reported across the province in the last 24 hours taking toll in K-P to 176. He stated that the K-P government has approved a Rs500 million grant for the provincial health department.

Wazir said that he has repeatedly emphasised on social distancing and appealed to the public to take precautionary measures.
