LUMS clarifies no student tested positive for coronavirus

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has refuted rumors that several of its students have been tested positive for the coronavirus.

Earlier, rumors surfaced that 15 students returning from Turkey were tested positive. However, in a statement today, the Student Council has clarified that no such case exists. The council further said that it was in contact with the administration and any such rumors would be clarified.

20 students went to Turkey's Model United Nations and on their return they were tested. However, all of the students tested negative. They were once again tested at Chugtai Lab on LUMS directives and their test came out negative.
