Rescue officials said that coal miners were working in a coal mine when they were buried alive under the debris after landslide. They added as a result, four coal miners, including three brothers, lost their lives.

They mentioned that it took rescue workers five hours to retrieve the bodies from the coal mine. The deceased belonged to Muslim Bagh Tehsil.

Last year, nine coal workers were killed after they got trapped almost 3,500 feet underground after an explosion caused the mine to partially cave in. The bodies of the deceased were recovered from the Degari coalmine.
