LCWU holds seminar on Kashmir Solidarity Day

Chairman Kashmir Committee Pakistan Syed Fakhar Imam said on Monday that Kashmir issue is not political or military issue but it is purely a human issue. He was addressing the seminar organized by Mass Communication Department of the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day.

He also said that occupied valley had been turned into the world's biggest prison. He said the day was not far off when India will have to end illegal occupation of Kashmir. He further said that Pakistan is thank full to Turkey, China, Malaysia and Iran for their support on the Kashmir issue. He urged the students that they should carry forward the mission of Burhan Wani through social media.

"We will stay with the Kashmiri brothers till our last breath." Vice Chancellor Lahore University for Women, Prof Dr Bushra Mirza said: "On August 5, 2019 India absolved itself of the last pretence of civility and justice by trying to deprive the Kashmiri people of their very identity."

She also said that the role of educational institutions is very important. We will continue to hold such programs in the future. Dr Anjum Zia, Head of the Department of Mass Communication said that the Kashmir issue is not only a problem of Kashmir but of the whole world. Kashmires have been in prison for 190 days.

Addressing the ceremony, Member Provincial Assembly and Kashmir Committee Punjab Uzma Kardaar said that the youth is the future of Pakistan. Kashmir is the backbone of Pakistan. The Prime Minister Imran Khan called himself the Ambassador of Kashmir. Today the ugly face of the Modi government of India has been exposed. ISPR documentary on Kashmir's struggle was also showcased.
