Pakistan takes 9 medals in Al-Fajeera Open Taekwondo Championship

Pakistani has won one gold medal, 5 silver and three bronze medals in the Al-Fajeera Open International Taekwondo Championship. National players after participating in the three-day Championship held in United Arab Emirates (UAE) reached Pakistan, on Tuesday.

The representative of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation and relatives of players warmly welcomed the players at the Jinnah International Airport on their arrival to Karachi. They congratulated the Pakistani players on their brilliant performance in Al-Fajeera Open International Taekwondo Championship.

Ayesha Ayaz, a 9 years old has won a gold medal while Ayesha Anwar, Fatima Khawar, Seenan Ashfaq, Muhammad Danish and Muhammad Murtaza Abbas won silver medals and Malaika Nayyab, Anushy Aleem and Muhammad Abdul Abbas won bronze medal for Pakistan.

Hundreds of international players of 32 countries participated in Al-Fajeera Open International Taekwondo Championship in UAE. Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Dr. Fahmida Mirza and Pakistan Taekwondo Federation's President Lieutenant Col Waseem Ahmed Janjua (retired) congratulate the players on their tremendous performance in international championship.

Federal Minister Dr. Fahmida Mirza in his message said that the government will support the talented players in the country.

The President of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Lieutenant Col. Waseem (retired) said that the performance of Pakistani players in Al-Fajeera International Open Taekwondo Championship was excellent.

Pakistani Taekwondo Federation President Waseem Ahmed said that Pakistan will host International Taekwondo G1 and Safe Taekwondo Championship this year.
