Pakistan is facing a shortage of thermal scanner guns at its airports as global virus fears mount over coronavirus epidemic.

As per details, Pakistani authorities have sought the help of World Health Organization (WHO) for this purpose. The WHO has assured to provide 100 thermal scanner guns. By using the thermal scanners, the human body temperature can be tested without touching and the detection of coronavirus suspects is also possible.

The thermal scanner guns are used to inspect travelers arriving at the country from its entrances.

Furthermore, the China airlines had announced that it is partially suspending its flights between Beijing and Karachi in the light of Wuhan virus. All flights between Karachi, Beijing and Beijing to Karachi will remain suspended till February 2 due to deadly coronavirus that has killed 132 people so far, according to airport sources.

The Government of Pakistan confirmed on Wednesday that four Pakistani students in China have been positively diagnosed with coronavirus. Addressing a press conference here, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr Zafar Mirza stated that so far four Pakistani students studying in China's Wuhan have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
