Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has said that governor State Bank of Pakistan's report has put a question mark on the performance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

Reacting on the report of State Bank, PPP Secretary General and former chairman of Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari on Wednesday said that report says that the inflation will remain 12 percent which is very high.

He said that the PPP government had increased wheat support price for growers which had resulted in self-sufficiency in wheat produce. He said that in contrast, growers have been ruined by the present government and it has become difficult for them to keep growing crops which they will have to sell at cheaper rates, thus the agriculture sector is falling into a crisis.

He said that the State Bank report has revealed that the government's tall claims about economy and good governance are totally false. He said that that the SBP has exposed the governance of PTI government. He said that the State Bank has confirmed the inflation at high rate and slowdown in economic progress in the country.

He said in a statement that it is shameful for the PTI government which is claming of good governance and economic progress in the country. He said that the governor State Bank has said that inflation will remain at 12 percent.

He said that in "Naya Pakistan" of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the agricultural sector is suffering and the lives of the people have become miserable due to price hike.
