National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in collaboration with the Government of Sindh has inaugurated its 15th "Chest Pain Unit" in Jacobabad at JIMS to facilitate patients with chest pain with easy access and free of cost services.

Mir Aijaz Hussain Khan Jakhrani (Advisor Prison & IPC to Chief Minister Sindh) and Prof Nadeem Qamar (Executive Director, NICVD) formally inaugurated the Chest Pain Unit on Thursday.

Mir Aijaz Hussain Khan Jakhrani said that Sindh Government is serving the people of Sindh and this facility is proof of it. Congratulating NICVD administration and Prof Nadeem Qamar for saving thousands of lives in entire Sindh by establishing Chest Pain Units and Satellite Centers at different cities of the province.

On the occasion, Executive Director NICVD Prof Nadeem Qamar termed this Chest Pain Unit as a gift to the people of Jacobabad and its peripheries, having chest pain or heart attack could be provided immediate help to save their lives.-PR
