Pakistan, Iran have long history of cooperation: Firdous

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minster for National Regulations and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said Monday that Pakistan and Iran have a long history of mutual cooperation and collaboration in diverse fields.

This she said during a meeting with Acting Iranian Ambassador Husain Ravish who called on her here.

The minister said that Pakistan and Iran being neighbours enjoy exemplary relations and both countries have always extended support to each other in the hours of need.

During the course of conversation, Husain Ravish invited the minister to attend International Seminar on Family and Globalization being held in Tehran as chief guest.

The minister accepted the invitation and agreed to attend the seminar.

"Such mutual exchange of visits will further cement the brotherly cooperation between the neighbours", said the minister.
