Resolution against gas suspension to industry submitted to PA

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Sadia Taimoor on Friday submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly against the suspension of gas to the industry.

According to text of the resolution the industrial sector has already destroyed due to the wrong economic policies of the government.

The industries in Sailkot and Faisaslabad were already not working. The remaining industry will also be shut after the suspension of gas. The government should evolve a strategy to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to the industry for eight hours per day. The resolution demanded the House to oppose the government's act of gas suspension to the industry.

PML-N MPA Chaudhry Akhtar Ali said that detail of illegal possession of 70 canal land of Mian Mir Darbar should be presented in the House. While responding to a question, Parliamentary Secretary Taimoor Lalli said that 70 canal land of Darbar should be vacated from the people who were illegally occupying the land. He also said that the government had asked the district administration for demarcation of the illegally occupied land. As soon as this process will be completed, the land will be vacated. The government faced embarrassment when the treasury benches failed to complete the quorum.
