Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Saudi Arabia on Saturday on a one-day visit to the kingdom.

The prime minister will hold talks with Saudi leadership on the entire spectrum of bilateral relations as well as the regional situation. He will also pay his respect at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) in Madina Munawwara. According to the foreign office, the visit is part of regular exchanges between the leadership of both the countries.

“As part of the regular exchanges between the leadership of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will be visiting Saudi Arabia on 14 December 2019. The consultations will cover bilateral matters and recent developments in the regional context,” said a statement by Pakistan’s foreign ministry.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi earlier said that the two countries would discuss issues between Muslim countries and the importance of resolving those issues.
