Apropos a news item titled "power projects - raises transparency questions" appeared in Business Recorder on December 12, 2019, it is clarified that projects cited in the story were related to Discos which are being funded by the ADB. This was confirmed by informed sources not the Ministry officially.

The official press release issued by the Power Division just stated "it was also agreed that all efforts by both sides will be made to ensure maximum transparency during the execution of projects," Any misconception is regretted.
