On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,258.

The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.933 billion and the numbers of lots traded was 8,812.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.030 billion, followed by NSDQ100 PKR 1.310 billion, Crude Oil PKR 703.126 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 527.969 million, DJ PKR 465.338 million, Platinum PKR 294.622 million, Silver PKR 234.983 million, Natural Gas PKR 200.697 million, SP500 PKR 133.244 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 17.604 million and Copper PKR 14.728 million.

In agriculture commodities 2 lots of Wheat valued at PKR 8.195 million and 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.999 million were traded.
