British rock band Coldplay has paid a tribute to Pakistani singer Amjad Sabri in a unique way in their latest album ‘Everyday Life’.

‘Coldplay’ lead singer Chris Martin revealed in an interview that the album is about expressing their own experience and also empathize with everyone else’s. The theme of his album is 'we are big family on earth'.

Speaking about the song ‘Church’ in their album, Martin told Entercom that there are two more singers in the song. One of them is Amjab Sabri and another one is Norah, a singer from Jerusalem. Martain added, "He is the third best singer in that track".

“There’s two cool other singers on that one. There’s this guy who was a Pakistani singer called Amjad Sabri. He was sadly murdered by people who didn’t like what he stood for. Then there’s a friend of ours called Norah, who is a guy from Jerusalem. I’m the third-best singer on that track,” he said.

With their newly released album ‘Everyday Life’, Coldplay is currently running in the music top charts. Referring to the music records, Coldplay has reached at the top of the album charts consecutively for the eighth time.
