On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,300.

The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.447 billion and the numbers of lots traded was 6,418.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.565 billion, followed by Crude Oil PKR 599.563 million, Natural Gas PKR 587.118 million, Platinum PKR 366.751 million, Currencies through COTS PKR 365.445 million, NSDQ100 PKR 330.148 million, Silver PKR 273.235 million, Palladium PKR 137.104 million, DJ PKR 69.451 million, SP500 PKR 63.039 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 58.689 million and Copper PKR 30.901 million.

In agriculture commodities 2 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 8.243 million and 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.523 million were traded
