The PM took to his Twitter handle on Wednesday and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the protection of child rights. He further said that the government is pursuing policies and programmes at every level to promote equality of opportunity for all children. "Let’s work for a better future for our children as we celebrate Children’s Day!" he tweeted.

In another tweet, the PM said that while we celebrate Children's Day, we should not forget the suffering of the children in Indian occupied Kashmir. "The international community must urge India to abide by its obligations under CRC on child rights, particularly for the children in IoK," he added.
