Training workshop for women entrepreneurs organized

Business development experts at a training workshop have urged the young female entrepreneurs to follow the emerging advances and online business tools to promote and market their products in a better way.

The training was held under auspices of Women Chamber of Commerce Peshawar in joint collaboration with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), CRDO, non-profit organisation and National Business Development Programme at the chamber house.

Besides, WCCI Peshawar President Rakhsana Nadir, Founder Member of the women chamber Fitrat Ilyas Bilour, senior members and a large number of women entrepreneurs took part in the training programme.

The training session aimed at to apprise the women entrepreneurs about different business development tools and difficulties before the launch of any business.

The trainer Murtaza Zaidi and CRDO Chief Executive, Imran Inam gave a detail presentation during the day-long training session and asked the women entrepreneurs to adopt emerging advances and online business tools to promote and market their products in a better way.

Rakhsana Nadir while speaking at concluding session of the training workshop thanked the businesswomen for their active participation. She said that the training session was aimed at encouraging skilled women to market their products.

She stressed the need for economic empowerment of women by providing them with latest and modern facilities. She said it was dire need to gain acknowledge about the modern business tools and methods.

Rakhsana Nadir emphasised the need for establishment of close linkages among businesswomen to market their products in efficient manner. She expressed hope that such training session would be helpful to further strengthen their business dealing skills to market handicraft effectively and increase their income.

The participants on the occasion said that the training session helped the participants with their sales because there was no intermediary between the women workers and the buyers. The speakers said that sellers could establish contacts and increased access to various markets at such skills development trainings.

At the end, the WCCI president and CRDO CEO Imran Inam distributed certificate among the participants of the training programme.
